What We Do
A great Speakers Reel tells a potential client who you are, what the audience will get from your talk, and most importantly, why you are the perfect person to address their audience.
Your Time
We want to respect your time. From start to finish the entire production, including planning, filming, edits, and revisions should take less than a month.
Their Time
Similarly, the length of the video needs to respect the time of the people who are viewing it. Our research has shown that the average viewer will watch three minutes of a video. (That is the same length as a hit song on the radio.) But when you break down that experience even further, you discover that people decide within 30 seconds if it is a “no.” A “Yes” takes 90 seconds.
We want viewers to decide 'yes' in the first minute and a half. The rest of the video is there to confirm their decision.
We have found that a video that runs 15 (or even 10) minutes is a waste of resources. It also shows the selection committee that you don’t know when to stop talking!
Our target run time is 3 minutes, with an absolute maximum of 5.

Video of you on stage
This is pretty obvious. People want to see what you look and sound like on stage.
An Interview
This is your opportunity to tell your story. How did you get here? What does the audience get in exchange for their time and attention? What is your unique superpower?
We also love to incorporate your archival video: presentations, TV appearances, home movies, everything. Even if the resolution is poor, we use the latest AI tools to improve the quality.
Video of you, being you
This might be you riding your bike, visiting a library, working in your office, or playing with your kids. This is an opportunity to show that you are a real human being, not ‘just’ a speaker.
We need three things to craft a compelling story that showcases what you offer as a speaker.
Pricing and Longevity
Your Changing Brand
Your custom Speakers Reel will last two years. Your hair style, your clothes, the content of your talks will remain reasonably consistent for that long. You should plan on creating a new video that captures your evolution as a presenter every other year.
Two-year investment
Do you plan on doing speaking engagements for the next two years? This marketing tool will keep performing for the next 24 months. So, when considering the value of this investment we recommend amortizing the cost over two years’ worth of engagements.
Simple Pricing
At Speakers Reels we do bespoke creations for standardized pricing.
For a flat rate of $6150 + HST you get the full suite of services we offer.
We charge a 40% deposit upon booking, with the remainder due upon delivery of the final product.
